This pizza is phenomenal. If you like Detroit-style pizza, this is your delicious place. I'm crushed to see they are still undergoing repairs. I eagerly await their reopening.
We were very excited to see this place occupy the former Pizza Hut and looked forward to trying it. We ordered online for pickup and it was ready promptly. We got a small Godzilla, small pepperoni, and cheese bread. Overall I'd award this a solid 4 stars since it looses a star due to the high price. The garlic bread was my favorite.
Picked up 2 smalls: classic pepperoni and The Special (sans chiles) for a park picnic and loved it. The dough is so buttery (despite being dairy free) and sweet-- perfect balance to the sauce, cheese and salty toppings. I especially loved the sweet-salty flavors of The Classic. The online order ahead of time worked well, and we were able to find a spot in the parking lot to quickly pick up the order. The small size was enough to have leftovers, which heated up really nicely in the air fryer the next day. Will definitely be back to try more treats!
Can't stop thinking about their pizza. thick, buttery, chewy and loaded with topping. So yummy I ordered their specialty pizza. Small is about 4 pieces. its good enough to feed 2 people. the only drawback is the price. The price is evil. $24.99 for small pizza...
Being from Chicago, I was super excited to get a pizza with giardinera on it! We enjoyed our pizza, the crispy sides of the breading is very delicious! The giardinera was on point. The only thing is the pie is rather small for the price point. We got a large and I would say it could feed 3 but still is on the smaller end.
Ok this review is for the pizzas and the owner. Both are 5 star worthy. Mike the owner is hands on getting the work done. It's clear he takes great pride in his unique pizzas. They are delicious and Detroit style and much lighter than they look. The sauce is very zesty. The crusty edges are the money shot with this pie. High quality ingredients don't to the monogrammed boxes. Got a pepperoni and sausage and the basic cheese. No real room to eat and they don't keep any cash on hand. It's basically order online or walk in. It was easy and efficient. It's clear the owner wants to be part of the neighborhood and if he keeps up this good work he will be there as long as he wants to. Great pies Mike! We will be back!
First experience with a ghost kitchen kinda setup. Missed the spot the first time since the only indicator of the place is a sign oddly reading "rent a kitchen" I called the number on my order half thinking "I got scammed on Yelp" lol until they helped me find their location. There's only one size and considering it was like $30 for a pizza I was hesitant but figured what the heck why not since I was planning to hit another spot and spend roughly the same. Pizza comes in a rectangle in the box. They use a unique dough which was incredible. Legit there was no leftovers Me and my friend kept going back for seconds until it was gone! No lie definitely in my top 10 pizza spots after the first try! That was one of the best pizzas of my life!
